Our research aims to address the needs of the grape and wine industry and further our basic knowledge of the environmental physiology of grapevines.
Through the integration of viticulture, plant physiology and agronomy, our research utilizes multi-disciplinary and collaborative approaches aimed to address the needs of the grape and wine industry and further our basic knowledge of the environmental physiology of grapevines. As a function of this, our goal is to investigate and integrate both basic and applied aspects of grapevine physiology and production.
Our research efforts aim to provide a context in which not only viticultural practices and wine quality can improve but that could significantly contribute to the broader field of horticulture and positively impact other cropping systems as a whole.
